A 23-year veteran in the field of public and private child welfare and adoption services, Ellen’s most recent clinical experience is in private practice in Brunswick, Maine.   Before that, Ellen was a member of the multi-state direct-service team at Casey Family Services that developed and implemented a ground-breaking model for improving permanency outcomes in the child welfare system. In addition to her clinical work with hundreds of children and families, Ellen has developed and delivered trainings to public and private child welfare agency staff as well as directly to foster and adoptive families. She has proven especially effective at collaborating with state child welfare personnel, members of the medical and education communities, and other stakeholders on behalf of youth.
