Thank you for your interest in changing a child’s life by becoming a foster parent!
Once you have discussed the possibility of becoming a foster parent with our Family Resource and Recruitment Manager and made a decision to take the next step, you will need to be trained. The mandatory 30-hour training program will prepare you to foster while also helping you make an informed decision about becoming a foster parent. This training, called Massachusetts Approaches to Partnership in Parenting (MAPP), is required by the Department of Children and Families and is offered locally by Plummer Youth Promise staff.
