“Sarah was able to express herself through art and photography…she is currently taking photography at Salem High School. I am so grateful for community support that empowers youth and brings hope to families as it has done to mine.”

In our On Point program, we offer a modified version of PhotoVoice, an internationally recognized methodology that aims to build skills within disadvantaged and marginalized communities. Through participatory photography and digital storytelling methods, PhotoVoice teaches participants to express their emotions, perspectives, ideas while creating alternative perspectives of their communities. In addition, it teaches marketable skills such as photography and the use of technology for printing and editing.
